This an absolutely beautiful love story set in the backdrop of a remote Senegalese village. She spoke about how she got a lot of inspiration for the shots in the film from art and it shows, every shot was framed beautifully and in rich colour, black skin looks so beautiful in this film.

We highly recommend it. It’s out on full release from 15th March. Go check it.

BFI London Film Festival film no.6: Cobweb - a Korean comedy drama directed by Kim Jew-woon and starring Song Kang-ho. It’s a film within a film narrative about a director who decides to reshoot the ending of his completed film in the 70s and falling foul of the censors and his production company with chaos ensuing.

Kim Jew-woon was also n attendance at the screening too

In a change up to the usual preview screenings I got to see some of the episodes of the new season of Hey Duggee.

Of all the kids shows Hey Duggee is my favourite because it’s built with adults in mind. It’s full of film and pop culture references from the likes of Game of Thrones, Top Gun, The Watchmen, Stranger Things to name just a few

These new episodes are great and the little one loved it and got some Duggee swag as well. I’m glad these new episodes are dropping in September because I’ve been made to see all the current episodes multiple times 😂

There was a pre-party for the kids too with music, cake, games drawing and a whole lot more. It was a great day
